Taste
of Tribeca, the 9th annual, on May 17
Neighborhood chefs will take their skills and skillets to the streets
on Saturday, May 17, for the 9th annual Taste of Tribeca. Fifty-five restaurants
will serve tastings from 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Duane Street between
Hudson and Greenwich streets.
This year, there will also be two free walking tours of the neighborhood
given by Oliver E. Allen, author of Tales of Old Tribeca.
Meet at 12:30 p.m. or 3 p.m. in front of Washington Market Park, at Greenwich
and Duane streets.
Tasting cards for six different restaurant servings are $40, or $35 if
purchased in advance at Bazzini at 339 Greenwich St. or online at www.tasteoftribeca.citysearch.com.
Children with a paying adult do not need tickets. Proceeds benefit the
arts programs at P.S. 234 and P.S. 150.
Entrance to the event is at Duane and Greenwich Streets. In case of rain
the event will be held at P.S. 234 on Greenwich Street between Warren
