Battery Dance Festival at Wagner Park

The Battery Dance Company will be performing "On Foot" at the Schimmel Center on August 19.

Through 8/19. The 36th Annual Battery Dance Festival—the city's longest-running free public dance festival—is back in Wagner Park in August, offering an incredible program of performances. On stage will be both established and emerging dance companies presenting original works of diverse dance styles from 31 groups from around the country as well as from Spain, Dominican Republic, Botswana, Belgium and Sri Lanka.

When: August 13-18,  7 to 9 pm

There will also be a free closing event and reception on August 19, from 6 to 8 pm at The Schimmel Center at Pace University.  For more information, click here. Tickets for this performance are available beginning August 1.
