Book Program: Phyllis Lambert, "Building Seagram"

The author will talk about her book “Building Seagram,” which details the historical and architectural information about the Seagram building that rises over New York’s Park Avenue. Considered one of the greatest icons of 20th-century architecture, the building was commissioned by Samuel Bronfman, founder of the Canadian distillery Seagram. Lambert, Bronfman’s daughter, was 27 years old when she took over the search to find an architect to construct the building.
