THE MAKING OF PIER 26

The dock builders, iron workers, electricians, plumbers, concrete pourers and general laborers are long gone from the unique park they constructed on Tribeca’s Pier 26, their hard-wrought handiwork completed in September 2020.

During those two years the Trib documented every phase of work, providing a glimpse—in the photo essay and time-lapse videos below—of how it all came together. We hope they provide an even better appreciation of this much enjoyed addition to the Hudson River Park waterfront.
