The Opera Collective at Tribeca Performing Arts

The Opera Collective, a group of local opera singers that performs with MTA’s Music Under New York program, bringing Bizet, Gershwin, and Puccini to subway riders will perform at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center on Friday, Nov. 1, at 8 p.m.

The singers include tenor José Heredia, a 1st prize winner of NJ Verismo Opera's 2014 Vocal Competition, and soprano Rachel Hippert, who has performed with the Amore Opera Company of New York in Cosí fan tutte (Fiordiligi), La Bohème (Mimí), La Traviata (Violetta) and Die Fledermaus (Rosalinda). 

 

Also onstage will be Anna Viemeister, Jonatha Green, Alexis Cregger and Cassandra Douglas.
