Pen Parentis Literary Salon: Oct. 9

Guests at October's Pen Parentis Literary Salon are Steve O’Connor, Ronna Wineberg and Sari Gail Wilson. 

Short story author and poet Stephen O’Connor wrote "Thomas Jefferson Dreams of Sally Hemings," a novel that reimagines the historical relationship between Jefferson and Sally Hemings. Novelist Ronna Wineberg wrote the short story collection "Nine Facts That Can Change Your Life," which explores relationships among children, parents, and friends. Sari Gail Wilson is the author of the novel "Girl Through Glass" and co-editor of Flashed: Sudden Stories in Prose and Comics with her husband, cartoonist Josh Neufeld.The theme is “Deception.” 

Readings, signings, and discussion about life-work balance will be moderated by author Amy Shearn ("How Far is the Ocean From Here") and M. M. De Voe. Wine and Refreshments compliments of Andaz Wall Street.
