A 24-year-old man left his rented Citibike unattended about 10 feet away from the rack while helping a friend rent another bike. A man walking mounted the bike, valued at $1,200, and fled north on Gold Street.

250 Greenwich
Aug. 23, 8:15 a.m.

A man’s $3,000 Litespeed bicycle was stolen from a bike rack.

Front and Wall
Aug. 21, 4:45 p.m.

A 20-year-old woman is under arrest for pushing a 30-year-old woman to the ground and facilitating the theft of her $800 iPad. The victim was accosted by the woman and an accomplice, who, together, ambushed her on the street. One stood in front of the victim, asking for her iPhone, while the other stood behind her—at which point they pushed her against a parked truck and then to the ground. The accomplice fled with the iPad.

Aug. 20, 5 p.m.

A man’s Cannondale bike, valued at $1,100, was stolen from a bike rack where it was chained while he was at work.

391 Greenwich
Aug. 19, 6:10 p.m.

Two men shoplifted a $1,700 Proenza Schouler bag and a $1,000 Alexander Wang tote bag from a display shelf at Edon Manor.

Aug. 19, 4:30 p.m.

A $1,250 Scott bike that had been locked to a bike rack was stolen.

89 South
Aug. 17, 1:35 a.m.

A man in his 30s was punched by another man after intervening in an argument between him and one of his friends inside the Pacific Grill on Pier 17. The victim suffered lacerations on his forehead and the back of his neck. He was treated at the scene and then taken to Bellevue Hospital. About a half-an-hour later, a second man, 31, reported to police that after leaving the scene of the brawl, outside the restaurant, he discovered he had been stabbed in the back.

A man’s $20,000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was stolen.

Aug. 14, 4:45 p.m.

A thief snatched a $500 Smartphone out of the hand of 63-year-old man when the victim sneezed.

Aug. 14, 2:45 a.m.

A 37-year-old man is under arrest for trespassing in a residential tower under construction and stealing $3,400 worth of electrical wiring. The witness, the owner of the equipment, saw the man throw the items off the side of the building, climb over a wall and make an escape.

Aug. 13, 1:35 a.m.

A 27-year-old man is under arrest after breaking into a restaurant and stealing two bottles of wine. Cops nabbed him sometime after he fled west by bike on John Street.

Aug. 13, 11:40 a.m.

A thief broke into a New York Sports Club gym locker and stole nearly $700 worth of belongings, including an iPhone, wallet, belt, a debit card and $60. The victim told police he had locked the compartment while working out and found it unlocked upon his return. He later discovered that two attempted debit card purchases at TJ Maxx and J&R were denied by his bank.

Aug. 13, 1:20 a.m.

A man seated in a southbound ‘A’ train was playing a game on his iPhone, when a thief grabbed the device and fled.

Aug. 11, 4:20 a.m.

A 20-year-old man is under arrest for swiping a 54-year-old man’s cell phone and wallet from his pants pocket using a razor blade while the man was sleeping. The wallet contained a New York State ID, six credit and debit cards and $240.

Aug. 9, 4:50 p.m.

Two thieves grabbed 19 bottles of perfume from an Abercrombie & Fitch’s display shelf, put them in a bag and walked out of the store. The total value of the perfume was $1,646.

Aug. 9, noon

A man bumped into a 72-year-old woman who was shopping at 55 Fulton Market, and then reached into her purse, taking her Social Security and Medicare cards.

165 Church
Aug. 9, 11 a.m.

A thief lifted $70 in cash from Q Cigars. The thief pretended to be a customer, inquiring about a cigar, and then passed a note to the shop’s 23-year-old employee that read, “This is a robbery, give me all the money you have. Don’t tell anyone or you’ll be hurt.” The woman promptly handed the person the money from the register.

Aug. 9, 10 a.m.

A teenage robber accosted a boy, 16, and said, “Give me your money and cell phone and I have gun in my pocket.” He then simulated a gun in his pocket, snatched the $300 Smartphone from the victim and ran. The boy was not injured.

Aug. 9, 12:01 a.m.

Someone removed $1,123 from the petty cash box of Bikram Yoga Downtown, along with a deposit safe containing $500.

50 Fulton
Aug. 8, 1:10 a.m.

A robber pointed a gun at the face of a 33-year-old newsstand operated and said, “Give me your money.” He got away with $1,500 in cash.

Battery Park, at Bridge and State
Aug. 6, 6 p.m.

A thief stole a man’s bag containing $2,000 worth of items from a park bench while the victim was talking on his cell phone. Inside the bag was a MacBook, an iPad, clothing, sunglasses and $500.

325 North End
Aug. 6, 1 p.m.

A man’s $15,000 motorcycle was stolen. A doorman at a nearby apartment building told police he had seen the bike being loaded onto a van.
 

89 South
Aug. 5, 10 p.m.

A woman placed her purse on the floor of Pacific Grill. When she went to retrieve it 15 to 30 minutes later, it was missing. Inside her bag, valued at $900, was a wallet, Smartphone, credit card and Florida driver’s license.
 

418 Washington
Aug. 5, 1:30 p.m.

A man placed his bag on a couch in the lounge of John Allan’s, a men’s grooming shop. When he returned, the bag, which contained a laptop, a wallet, sunglasses, shoes, shirts and two debit cards, was gone.
