Help for Those Who are Grieving

For those dealing with a sudden loss or grief, Trinity Wall Street is offering a sanctuary for personal and spiritual support. The program “Rest for Your Souls” will begin on May 17 at 5 p.m., at St. Paul’s Chapel with a special Eucharist that will include readings, music and meditation led by Rev. Dr. Mark Bozzuti-Jones, Dr. Kathy-Bozzuti-Jones, and Rev. Kristin Kaulbach Miles. On the Wednesdays following the Eucharist, therapists from the Psychotherapy and Spirituality Institute, the Rev. Dr. Kelly Murphy Mason and the Rev. Sarah Segal McCaslin, will facilitate special gatherings on May 20, May 27 and June 3 addressing topics such as loss, grief and recovery. All Wednesday sessions will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Manning Room at Trinity Church. The themes to be addressed include: 1. Telling the stories of what we have lost from our lives (May 20) 2. Confronting those myths we ourselves have been told about grief and bereavement (May 27) 3. Honoring what endures and considering what promise this might hold for our futures (June 3) For more information, please contact the Rev. Kristin Miles at kmiles@trinitywallstreet.org or 212-602-0895.
