Suspect Sought in Fatal Stabbing of Man in Chambers St. Subway Station

The victim of a stabbing died Saturday afternoon after being found unconscious about 3 p.m. on the platform of the Chambers Street Station’s J/Z line near City Hall, police said. The unidentified victim, a man in his 20s who reportedly had been arguing with his assailant, was stabbed multiple times in the legs, police said, and pronounced dead at New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.

The suspect, shown in the video above running along the platform, is described as a male with a light complexion, approximately 30-years-old, 5-feet, 5-inches tall and 150 pounds, with long black hair. He was seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
