Thieves Strike Tribeca Issey Miyake

A woman snuck out of Tribeca Issey Miyake, the designer clothing store at the corner of Hudson and North Moore streets, carrying more than $3,000 worth of items, according to police.

The woman, accompanied by a man, entered the store, at 119 Hudson St., just after noon on Thursday, April 16, removed clothing from the shelves and took them into the fitting room. About 20 minutes later, the woman reportedly walked out of the fitting room and left the store.

A store employee later discovered that two tops totaling $1,250, a $1,080 skirt and a pair of $940 pants were gone. Police were reviewing surveillance video.
