Tour: Central America's Past Revealed Through 155 Ceramic Works

A guided tour through the exhibition, "Cerámica de los Ancestros: Central America's Past Revealed" examines seven broad regions representing Central American cultural areas that are today part of Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras and Belize.
The exhibition invites visitors to explore the exceptional artistry of approximately 155 objects made of clay, gold, jade, stone and shell, objects that span the period from 2000 B.C. to the present and provide fascinating details about the lives of the peoples who have called the area home for centuries.
