Where to Donate, Locally, to Ukraine Relief
Manhattan Youth and Tribeca Dental Studio are joining together to collect supplies for Ukrainian refugees in Poland. Items can be dropped off at Tribeca Dental Studio, 54 Warren St., over the next few weeks. Accepted items include: kids non-perishable food, clothing and picture books; water; all types of canned and non-perishable food; all types of medicine and first aid supplies (sanitary items, first aid kits, antibacterial gels/sprays); warm clothing (thermal clothes, gloves, coats, socks, footwear, thermal blankets, sleeping bags); batteries and chargers.
Take a class at NYLO Fitness, 279 Church St., and your suggested $50 donation will go to the International Committee of the Red Cross. The ICRC is aiming to help millions of Ukrainians access clean water and otherwise improve the living conditions of those whose homes have been damaged during the war. Sign up here for a class. NYLO Fitness says more classes will be added.
The Ukrainian restaurant Veselka, 144 2nd Ave., is partnering with Razom for Ukraine’s relief efforts. Drop off donations at their East 9th Street entrance. Go here for a list of requested supplies, go to. The restaurant is also donating 100% of proceeds from their borscht sales to Ukraine relief.
The Downtown Alliance has posted here additional ways to aid Ukrainians and Ukrainian refugees.
