A 31-year-old Financial District resident said an unidentified gave him a ride home, helped him to his apartment and then stole his credit cards, cell phone and $500 cash.

Aug. 27...5:30 p.m.

An unidentified man walked up to a souvenir vendor, put him in a headlock and stole $300 from his pocket.

85 Franklin Street
Aug. 27...2 p.m.

A woman said she returned home from out of state to find her door unlocked and $19,040 in jewelry missing from her bedroom.

88 Fulton Street
Aug. 26...7:15 a.m.

A newsstand manager said someone picked the lock on his security gate and stole nine cases of water.

62 White Street
Aug. 25...7:55 a.m.

An architecture firm told police that a thief broke into their office after it had closed for the night and stole a laptop computer, digital camera 52-inch monitor.

Aug. 24...8 p.m.

An employee at Kub Partners Accounting reported that someone had cashed more than $86,000 in fraudulent checks while working for the company.

Aug. 23...1 a.m.

A Duane Street resident said four unidentified men robbed him as he was walking home. Two of the men held his arms, while the other two searched his pockets, taking $75

Aug. 22...12 a.m.

A woman was informed that someone had used her cell phone several times after she left it in a cab.

45 Pine Street
Aug. 11...6:51 p.m.

Ronnell Clymers, 29, was arrested after he was allegedly observed stealing an employee’s cell phone from a restricted access area in a Duane Reade store.

76 Beaver Street
Aug. 11...12:50 p.m.

An employee at the Dillon Horowitz and Goldstein law firm told police that someone had duplicated and cashed a company check.

Hudson & Vestry Streets
Aug. 11...1:30 a.m.

A $14,000 motorcycle was reported stolen.

455 N. End Avenue
Aug. 10...5 p.m.

An 84-year-old woman reported a watch and three rings stolen from her apartment in a residence for senior citizens. The victim said the jewelry could have been stolen any time in the last two months. There were no signs of forced entry into her apartment.

Aug. 10...4:40 p.m.

A Tribeca resident’s $12,000 motorcycle was reported stolen.

State Street & Battery Place
Aug. 10...3:38 p.m.

Two men were arguing aboard a southbound #5 train. The men got off the train at the Bowling Green station, where one of them struck the other in the mouth with a glass bottle. The victim, a 29-year-old Queens resident, was treated for injuries at the scene of the incident.

Aug. 10...11:15 a.m.

Someone stole three wallets from dressing rooms at a women’s clothing store.

105 Reade Street
Aug. 8...12:01 a.m.

Someone stole a woman’s handbag while she was away from her table at Sazon.

Aug. 4...6:43 p.m.

A $3,000 bicycle was stolen from the hallway of a residential building. A suspect, 44-year-old Ivan Ortiz, was later arrested after a witness caught him allegedly trying to stash the bicycle in a locked common space in the building.

Someone snatched an iPad out of a 50-year-old New Jersey woman’s hand as she was walking along Franklin Street.

A Warwick, NY resident said someone stole a knapsack containing a laptop, wallet and checkbook from his car.

South & Beekman Streets

Someone used a fake credit card to buy $3,500 of electronic equipment from J&R Music World.

A woman visiting from Turkey told police that someone stole her wallet out of her handbag while she was eating at McDonald’s.

Employees at the Emporio Armani store said an unidentified man walked out of the store with more than $1,000 in clothes in his backpack.

A Brooklyn woman said someone stole her purse while she was using the restroom at the Marina Pier bar and restaurant.

A Bronx woman reported the wallet missing from her purse after she returned to her table after throwing out her trash.

A tourist from Vancouver told police that someone bumped into her at the Bento Nouveau restaurant just before she noticed that the wallet had been taken from her purse.

A Warren Street resident said she was conducting interviews at a table inside Starbucks when someone stole the wallet out of her backpack, which was hanging on the back of her seat.

149 Franklin Street

A 20-year-old Upper East Side resident’s said her laptop and cell phone were taken from the cashier’s counter at the Egg clothing boutique.

Broadway & John Street
July 21...6:20 p.m.
A 32-year-old Upper East Side resident told police that someone bumped into her on a northbound 4 Train and apparently took the wallet from her handbag.

Dover & Water Streets
July 19...10:25 p.m.
A 23-year-old Water Street resident was robbed at gunpoint on her way home. According to police, an unidentified male called out to her from across the street to get her attention, at which point a second unidentified male jumped out of a nearby car. The second man walked up to the woman, showed her a black handgun and demanded her purse, cell phones and scarf. The two men fled south on South Street. The woman was unable to describe the suspects in detail to police, and a canvass of the area produced no results.

Someone stole a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle belonging to a Maryland resident.

70 Battery Place
July 11...7:35 a.m.
An attendant at the River Watch parking garage told police that an unidentified man walked into the garage, unlocked a resident’s 2010 Acura MDX and sped out onto the street. The attendant told police he tried unsuccessfully to stop the thief.

24 Harrison Street
July 10...2:33 a.m.
Someone ran up behind a 30-year-old Harrison Street resident, hit him in the back of the head, causing him to drop his iPhone, police said. The victim told police a second unidentified man approached him and, as he reached for the phone, told him to sit on the curb and wait until they were out of sight.

A 49-year-old woman said someone stole a shopping bag containing her purse from a tour bus parked near Battery Park.

Someone stole a Brooklyn woman’s purse from the back of her chair at TGI Friday’s.

More than $6,800 was taken from a damaged ATM across the street from the Tribeca Grand Hotel.

West & N. Moore Streets
July 6...5 a.m.
At least 4,500 pounds of copper wiring—valued around $15,000—and assorted tools was stolen from the Hudson River Park construction site.

An 80-year-old East Village resident said someone bumped into him inside the Variety Café as he was leaving. After exiting the café, the victim noticed that his wallet was missing.

A 31-year-old man told police that someone used his debit card to buy two monthly Metrocards.
