Oct. 30, 8 a.m.
Burglars entered an apartment and stole two boxes of tools belonging to workmen. The apartment door was unlocked. The tools were valued at $4,080.

Trinity Place & Rector
Oct. 31, 10:30 p.m.
A Brooklyn man reported that he and his friends were surrounded by eight men when their subway train stopped. The men told the victims to give up their property. In the fight that ensued, one of the men was punched in the face and another victim was knocked to the ground and his wallet, containing $30, was stolen. The attackers fled towards Bowling Green, where police apprehended one of them, a 16-year-old. The wallet was recovered.

Fulton & Church
Nov. 2, 4 a.m.
A police officer observed a pickpocket taking someone’s property. The officer searched the pickpocket and found someone else’s ID. The officer then arrested the 62-year-old man.

27 Broadway
Nov. 3, 12 p.m.
A member of a gym left his property in a locked locker, but returned to find $390 in cash and two credit cards missing. Both cards were later used at a Modell’s Sporting Goods store.

Church & Liberty
Nov. 5, 2:30 a.m.
While walking south on Church Street, a man was approached from behind and forced to the ground by four muggers, who told him, “Don’t move or I’ll stab you.” They took the victim’s cell phone and $20 and kicked him.

Opposite 199 Chambers
Nov. 5, 12:15 p.m.
A 17-year-old Brooklyn woman was walking along the south side of Chambers Street when an unknown assailant punched her in the eye and then grabbed her purse. He escaped with $20 and her MetroCard.

Church & Walker
Nov. 6, 9:45 p.m.
A Manhattan woman parked her BMW before going to dinner. Upon returning to her car, she noticed that her rear window had been broken and several items, including a laser-pointer and medical equipment, had been stolen. The value of the property was estimated at $5,250.

2 North End Ave.
Nov. 10, 10:30 p.m.
A woman left her purse underneath her seat at a movie theater. After 30 minutes she returned. The manager informed her that the usher had found the purse but not the $170 wallet, which contained identification and credit cards.

Varick & Franklin
Nov. 12, 3:45 a.m.
While riding a southbound 1 train, a man approached a 54-year-old woman and forcibly removed her white leather purse. The woman struggled, sustaining a bruise on her mouth. The attacker fled the train, discarding the stolen belongings before leaving the station.

1 South Street
Nov. 20, 10:30 p.m.
A Queens woman was standing outside the Staten Island Ferry terminal taking a picture when a man grabbed the $250 camera from her hands and ran into the terminal. Witnesses followed the man and forced him to return the camera before police arrested him.

170 West Broadway
Nov. 23, 9 p.m.
A restaurant patron left a bag in a restaurant. When she called 10 minutes later, she was told that it had been returned to the hostess’s desk. Upon returning three hours later, the property could not be found. The bag’s contents, valued at $1,478, included camera equipment and an iPod.

50 Park Place
Nov. 24, 10:45 a.m.
Two men in their early 30s climbed the scaffolding and removed four motors worth $20,000 from the platform. They put them in a sedan and drove off.
