A Window Into Dance

An empty Warren St. storefront was turned into a stage last month when the Church Street School for Music and Art hosted the Rasa Dance Company’s performance “Cycle.”

As pedestrians stopped to watch through the windows, Sabine Heubusch and Rachel Tinguely performed a series of dances addressing how fashion and advertising influence women through the stages of their lives. With frequent costume changes, the two danced from innocent girlhood through to confident maturity.
