Pancreatic Cancer Fundraiser Oct. 20

The first Annual Mitchell Berke Memorial will be held Oct. 20 to benefit the Lustgarten Foundation For Pancreatic Cancer Research.

Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer deaths in this country. The Lustgarten Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that has provided more than $14 million to support research on the disease. They conduct annual scientific conferences and provide in
depth information to patients and their families.

The event will take place in Battery Park City, beginning at 10 a.m. at Rockefeller Park and progressing along the Hudson to Wagner Park and back. The approximate distance of the walk is two miles. It will conclude around 12 p.m. The minimum donation is $30.
