Norway’s Panta Rei Dance Theatre—known for its fast-paced, colorful, and theatrical choreography—is featured in Lullaby, a thought-provoking, contemporary metaphor of current international politics. Choreography by Ane Holck Ekenes, Pia Holden, and Hélène Blackburn. Set to a live score by Norwegian musician and composer Sverre Indris Joner, and with lighting design by Joakim Brink coupled with the work of dramaturg Kjell Moberg, the piece features three young, dynamic male dancers taking a journey through friendship, rivalry and raw masculinity, juxtaposed with the melodies of lullabies.
