Pace University’s annual "Celebration of Individuals with Disabilities in Film" features eight films that highlight people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, their dreams and hopes, as well as their contributions to society.
There will also be a panel discussion with advocates for people with disabilities. The keynote speaker is former New York State Assembly Member Harvey Weisenberg, an advocate for children with disabilities and founder of the Harvey and Ellen Weisenberg Foundation [1] along with his wife. Inspired by their son, Ricky who was born with developmental disabilities, their foundation serves people living with disabilities, as well as their parents and caregivers.

When: Tue., March 20, 4-9 pm. Displays and exhibits of community partners: 4–6 pm. Reception and refreshments: 5–6 pm. Discussion and films: 6–9 pm.
