Charles Waters, actor, educator and poet joins novelist Irene Latham to read and talk about their children's book, "Can I Touch Your Hair: Poems of Race, Mistakes & Friendship." Kirkus Review called the book a "fresh approach to exploring interracial communication." Waters is well known at Poets House for his special brand of interactive performance that gets kids into the feel, fun and rhythm of verse.
