Afternoon classes at the China Institute start July 12
This brush painting course at the China Institute focuses on the fundamentals of traditional painting, its principles, techniques, subject matter and style. Themes covered include landscapes, bird-and-flower paintings, insects and fish. Students will learn master brushstrokes and taught the skill of capturing the essence of forms.
Materials are supplied for the first class only. There are 5 sessions (15 hours)
When: July 12 – August 9
Fridays, 11 am-2 pm
Where: China Institute [1], 40 Rector Street, 2nd Floor
The fee is $235 (plus a $30 non-refundable registration fee)
