Part of Laughter in the Park, a weekly series in city parks
Comedian Roy Wood Jr. is the headliner in "Laughter in the Park," a free show in Rockefeller Park on July 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. No tickets are required. Seating is on the lawn.
The free show is part of a weekly comedy series in city parks, presented by the volunteer-run organization, NYLaughs.org [1].
Roy Wood Jr. joined Comedy Central’s hit series, “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” in 2015 and two years later he was named host of Comedy Central’s storytelling series, “This Is Not Happening,” which will launch a fifth season next year.
His first Comedy Central one-hour stand-up special, “Father Figure,” premiered in 2017 along with the release of an uncensored album of the same name. His second Comedy Central one-hour stand-up special, “Roy Wood Jr.: No One Loves You,” premiered in January.
