About Us

The Tribeca Trib covers Lower Manhattan, including Tribeca, Battery Park City, the Financial District and the Seaport/Civic Center area. It was founded in 1994 by Carl Glassman and April Koral.

In July 2015, the Trib published its last print edition and continues online with its web site, begun in 2002. The New York Times called the Trib “the newspaper that has long helped make a community out of the neighborhood” and over the years the paper and website have garnered many awards, including the National Newspaper Association’s highest award, for General Excellence. 

The Tribeca Trib is also the publisher of two illustrated books by Oliver E. Allen on the history of Tribeca: Tales of Old Tribeca and Tribeca: A Pictorial History.
