Suspect Slapped, Robbed Woman in Bowling Green Subway Station: NYPD

Police are looking for a man they say assaulted a woman on an escalator leading to the mezzanine inside the Bowling Green 4, 5, 6 subway station around 4:30 a.m. on Monday, March 21. The man slapped the 26-year-old victim “multiple times” and took her iPhone XR before fleeing down the escalator to the 5 train platform, police said. The woman refused medical attention. 

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
